Grayscale Boosts XRP Portfolio Role

Grayscale Gives XRP a Larger Role in New Investment Portfolios

XRP Secures a Major Position

Grayscale has assigned XRP a significant place in two newly introduced investment models aimed at financial advisers. In the Leaders portfolio, XRP ranks as the third-largest holding after Ethereum and Bitcoin. In the Next Gen model, which excludes Bitcoin, XRP moves up to second place behind Ethereum.

XRP Allocation in the Leaders Portfolio

The Leaders digital-asset portfolio allocates 11.92% to XRP. Ethereum represents the largest portion at 38.57%, followed by Bitcoin at 37.25%.

Solana accounts for 9.63%, while Hyperliquid makes up the remaining 2.63% of the portfolio.

XRP Gains More Weight in the Next Gen Model

The position of XRP becomes considerably larger in Grayscale’s Next Gen portfolio. Because Bitcoin is not included in this model, XRP represents 26.11% of the allocation.

Ethereum remains the dominant asset with a 42.34% share, placing XRP in second position. As a result, more than one-quarter of the portfolio is linked to Grayscale’s XRP fund.

Grayscale Targets Financial Advisers

The new portfolio structures are intended to simplify how financial advisers gain exposure to the cryptocurrency market. Rather than requiring advisers to purchase and manage individual digital tokens separately, the investment models provide a more consolidated approach to accessing multiple crypto assets.

Growing Demand for Simplified Crypto Exposure

Laurie Katz, Grayscale’s global head of distribution, said financial advisers are increasingly looking for ways to include digital assets in client portfolios without having to build and oversee every individual allocation themselves.

The new models are designed to respond to that demand by offering advisers a more streamlined way to incorporate cryptocurrency exposure into investment strategies.
